The provision of food helped more than 200 families living in approximately 90 houses (families share houses) in total, the people who live in the children’s home among adults, youth and children bring 550 people who come from prisons or the street.
The foundation collaborates month after month in providing groceries for these low-income families.

The foundation collaborated with the CASA DE LOS NIÑOS with the provision of 15 crown showers, 15 toilet bowls, 30 sinks, 15 toilet tanks, 20 dishwasher drains, 40 mattresses, 10 stoves and 10 jugs. In kitchens and bathrooms that did not function.

Diverse needs and losses are evident among mothers with children aged 0 to 5 years in San Sebastián Women’s prison, where a lack of attention to these children has been identified. The foundation, in collaboration with Caritas pastoral care, aims to provide comprehensive support to around 35 children living with their mothers in the prison. The goal is to address the specific needs of this population and maintain the mother-child bond, as older children typically leave the facility, interrupting this crucial connection.

The celebration of Children’s Day took place for the children associated with the CREAMOS organization, which provides support to boys and girls in situations of abandonment. The event included refreshments, balloons, and small gifts that brightened their day.

In the San Sebastián Mujeres prison, there is a recognized lack of attention to the needs of children aged 0 to 5, whose mothers are incarcerated. The foundation, in partnership with Caritas pastoral, aims to provide comprehensive care to approximately 35 children within this age group, fostering their well-being and addressing the unique challenges they face within the prison environment.

It is a village in the department of Cochabamba that is located near the village of Caramarca and Oki Oki. It has approximately 150 inhabitants. The foundation collaborates in the operation of the school and in providing necessary supplies for the inhabitants. An electricity generator, school supplies and groceries were also donated.

Supported by the purchase of a kitchen and a grill set for the raffle organized by the Puntiti Center, a facility dedicated to the comprehensive rehabilitation, special education, and awareness and training programs for the social, occupational, educational, and familial care and inclusion of children, adolescents, and young people (JANNs) with intellectual and multiple disabilities. These individuals are often orphaned or abandoned and come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The center achieves its goals through integral rehabilitation, special education, and programs aimed at raising awareness and providing training to the community.

8. Support for children with problems with malnutrition TIPNIS
The Pastoral Social and O.A. FOODS Foundation have assessed 248 children in the TIPNIS and surrounding areas, revealing that 9% in Santísima Trinidad suffer from chronic malnutrition. Their initiative aims to address food insecurity, highlighting issues of acute malnutrition and obesity-related malnutrition in children under 5 in Santísima Trinidad, Urkupiña, and Eterazama. A collaborative effort to promote development and enhance conditions in these vulnerable communities.
9. Huasa Higuerani children’s end of the year celebration
The Christmas celebration took place for the children who attend the choir every Saturday. Likewise, an end-of-year concert was held with the children and also the residents of the Huasa Higuerani area. Approximately 400 children were beneficiaries of these events.

10. Catechism and end of year celebration for women in prisons
OA Foods collaborates with the Caritas Pastoral to celebrate children living in prisons with their mothers. We will commemorate the occasion with a Christmas catechesis and the delivery of gifts and provisions at the San Sebastián Women’s Prison.
11. Support for the Walter Viviani Social Center Children’s Center
The center has a dining area available to people experiencing homelessness. Approximately 130 individuals, including children, youth, and adults, benefit from the meals provided by the dining facility. OA FOODS donates supplies for the dining area.

12. Giving of toys for Christmas to the children of the Tutimayu community
OA FOODS supports the Yachay Chhalaku (Knowledge Exchange) organization, which has been working in Sacaba since 2002, advocating for the rights of the indigenous peasant population. Currently, our collaboration extends to Tutimayu, a rural district of Sacaba, where approximately 60 girls and boys receive assistance with school supplies and ongoing support with their schoolwork throughout the year. This initiative aims to provide educational support and materials to children who otherwise lack access to these resources.

The Christmas celebration took place in the municipality of Vacas in Arani, with the presence of Catholic Church sisters. Approximately 60 children were treated to breakfast and received gifts during the event.

Recognizing the critical need, OA FOODS identified the extreme necessity of having healthcare personnel (nursing assistants) and psychologists to support the 26 children under our care.
